at the urging of some very supportive friends (who were probably tired of my Facebook posts!) I built this blog as an outlet for my creative energy and as a portal to the Outside World. Staying home with kids is not for sissies and showering when you want to is a luxury.

Who would have that thought showering is a luxury? But you are right, it is. When my husband is home watching the kids, I can spend an hour in there just enjoying a shower with no worries about anything or anyone else!
Rachel -that is the BEST! When the hubby watches the kids the “phantom baby” doesn’t even cry! Might have to cover that phenomenon next!
The little things take are taken for granted by others, but coveted by us! LOL Gone are my days of little feet pattering to the door of the bathroom, calling forlornly, “Mommy” as I try to block them out and relish in the steam! Mine are much older-and much louder, and they dont knock!
